Scotland today is still the beautiful country it always has been with beautiful rugged land scapes, history, and culture. For many people who have moved abroad, Scotland will still always be home. This picture above was taken on the very mystic and beautiful Island of Lewis off Scotland's north west coast in the outer Hebridees close to where it joins on to what is known as the Island of Harris.
Scotland has a very rich history and being part of the United Kingdom that enriches that history even more whith a turbulent history that goes back over 1500 years from the Picts to the Roman invasion to the Celtic invasion, and then of course, came conflict with England which was to last right up until the Jaco
